For most work we charge a flat rate fee of $75 per hour. Minimum bench charge is $50. Materials and supplies are billed extra at our cost. There is no fee for storage or humidification.
Whenever a repair involves string removal, a new set of Curt Mangan strings will be installed… unless you have supplied your own preferred string set. The fee for our strings is $15 – $50 (depending upon brand and model.) In addition to Curt Mangan we carry selected D’Addario, Elixir, and Martin string sets. We usually have a fairly comprehensive collection of single strings on hand. Other brands (Rotosound, Thomastic-Infeld, Ernie Ball, DR, etc.) can be supplied upon request but usually involve a delay due to the special order.
Here are the typical costs of the most common jobs we see:
Re-string $25 – $50 depending upon string choice
Basic Setup $50 (action adjustments only)
Full Setup $75 plus re-string charge (includes cleaning, polishing and
restringing)
Level Crown & Polish $150 plus re-string charge
Dress Fret Ends $75 plus restring charge (if applicable)
Custom nut or saddle $150 plus materials charge and restring charge (if applicable)
Remove and Re-glue Bridge $150 plus restring charge
Full Re-fret $300 plus material and restring charge
Neck Re-Set (includes setup) $450 plus restring charge
Repair Crack $75 – $100 per crack plus restring charge (if applicable)
